Electric Bicycle

OHM ELECTRIC
BICYCLE TECHNOLOGY
know POWER SYSTEM
=======================================================================
Proportional "Real-time" Assistance
The patented Bionx pedal-amplification system measures your pedal strokes using a stress sensor built into the rear axle. The Bionx motor takes that information and amplifies it seamlessly from 25 to 200 percent depending on your assistance settings. Keep in mind that proportional assistance means if you back off on your pedaling, the motor does the same. If you decide to charge ahead and pump the pedals, you better hold on tight because the Bionx system will amplify your pedal strokes instantly.

Or just give it some Throttle
If you don't feel like peddling at all, just hit the thumb throttle for speeds up to 20 mph on the flat. This is loads of fun but keep in mind that using the throttle drains the battery faster and greatly reduces your range. As a rule, the less assistance you use, the longer your range per charge. Having said that, if you're only going out for a short trip of a few miles, you're gonna love that sweet little red button.

bionx regenerative brakingRegenerative Anti-Lock Braking
In addition to four generative modes, regenerative braking also activates when the rear hand brake is engaged. When in use, Generation Mode recharges the battery but also makes it harder to pedal. The generative mode does not replace the existing brakes, but considerably increases braking quality on the rear wheel especially on downhill runs.
A note to off-road riders: Descending steep, loose terrain in Generation Mode Level Four provides a safe and controlled downhill ride that will make you grin and chill. No more pumping the brakes for fear of locking up and there's the added plus that you're turning gravity into electricity and extending your ride. Gotta love that!

Command Console and Throttle
Mounted near the center of your bicycle's handlebars, the Bionx Command Console is equipped with a microprocessor that provides both assistance and generation modes.

Other features include back lighting, speedometer, multifunction odometer, battery gauge, stress meter, and diagnostic modes. For security, the Command Console is easily removed to take with you when parking your bike.

The G2 Thumb Throttle
The new G2 independent throttle allows you to install the thumb throttle close to the handlebar grips for easy thumb access and mount the Command Console closer to the visual center of your handlebars. Adjust your assistance and generation levels with the plus and minus buttons or just hit the red button and off you go. We love that little red button.

The first time Pedal and Crank system was applied to the bike, exactly on the front wheels. Who created this system is still in question, because there are some parties who filed a claim for the idea. What is clear, put the pedal to the front wheels proved not a perfect idea, because it will make motorists driving difficult because of shocks on the wheels due to stroke. Wooden frame was replaced by iron....

design with a rigid frame and steel wheels, and the condition of the rocky roads of the time making this bike is known as Bone-Shaker ..

in 1868 :
The first bike that uses rubber tires and Ball-Bearing used James Moore in a bicycle race was first held.

James Starley, a Frenchman created the first bicycle that uses a very large front wheel, which is known by the name of Penny-Farthing. Penny-Farthing is actually a further development of the Bone-Shaker. Large front wheel that makes the rider to walk longer distances to each rotation, and also a great risk if a sudden stop or glide on derivatives, because the fall would be more pain.

Bicycle Safety in 1885 :
John Kemp Starley introduced the Rover, a Bicycle Safety as a renewal of the High Bicycle dangerous. Bike safety model is equipped with a variety of elements that have a modern bike....

1893: Folding
An American named Michael B. Ryan eventually patented a real folding bike.
